Charming cottage, lovely breakfast, with great access to outdoor activities in the surrounding area, including beautiful hiking trails and fishing spots nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed the location in a marvellous setting, easy to access neighbouring villages.

The room was big size and splendid with dining table, the children to play inside, as example, could leave my car onsite. The location was incredible and amazing - a short walk to everywhere I wanted to go. All of the staff was really friendly and outstandingly accommodating.

The thoughtfully provided snacks, tea, and coffee. The breakfast was good, with fresh eggs from on-site hens, and was served in a cute atmosphere.

Cozy stay with nice hosts

Had a nice 2-night stay! Colin and Tina were super friendly and made killer breakfasts. The big room was comfy and had lots of space for our gear. Only downside was some noise from the campers outside late at night, hard to sleep. Still, we loved the vibe and the walking trails nearby.

The noise from campers setting up in the garden area was a real disruptor, especially with loud music blaring late into the night. Communication regarding breakfast service was lacking, and we waited awkwardly for our meal without any sight of the host. Navigating to the hotel could be confusing. Google Maps took us on narrow, winding roads.

This was just a top selection for a city break in Starbotton with good price value. The village and cottage were beautiful, with spacious rooms. Arranging a table at the local pub was a nice touch.

The Quadruple Room was great, but the loud music from campers was annoying.

Take advantage of the hosts' offer for reservations at local pubs. They can provide great recommendations and access during busy hours.

Loud music from the garden area late into the night could ruin a peaceful stay!!! Poor communication about parking access led to unpleasant surprises, like stepping in pet excrement!!!

Chur, the big room upstairs was a sweet spot after our hikes, but the noise from the backyard at night was a bit much. Breakfast was the highlight-heaps of choice!

Family with children delight

After a long tiring hike, stepping into the cozy lounge reminded me of a warm embrace, the fireplace was a nice touch! Mrs Tina made sure we had everything we needed, even cookies for the kids and a basket with goodies for our dog, who does that?

It wasn't exactly a bargain but considering the service, it felt justified.

In a beautiful, quiet setting, I enjoyed a spacious quadruple room with tea, coffee, and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was superb, featuring fresh eggs! The stairs were a bit tricky at times, and the local roads are narrow, which might be challenging for some.
